Folarin Bandele

My name is Folarin Bandele, I am from Lagos, Nigeria. Now studying Chinese and Sociology/Anthropology.

 

Before arriving at St. Olaf, I studied at UWC Changshu China for 2 years. This was a very formative period for me. I learned to be independent, to seek help, and to always 加油.

Here, I have broadened my knowledge beyond language studies. I have learned the interplays between classical and contemporary literature, studied geography and history of the nation, and learned, through poetry and other forms of text, complex migrant experiences.
